The Piers join the Ferry Building and Pier 1 as well as a plethora of businesses and restaurants within the Financial District and Ferry Building, including the Ferry Plaza Farmer's Market. The Piers are easily accessible by all modes of transit, including auto, ferry services, Muni's historic rail, BART and bus. Parking is conveniently located at Pier 3 and across the street at the Embarcadero and Washington Street.

Directions from the North Bay

  • Exit Golden Gate Bridge
  • Turn right at Van Ness Ave
  • Turn left at Broadway St
  • Turn right at The Embarcadero
  • Take the 1st left onto Washington St

Directions from the South Bay

  • Exit 280 at King St
  • Continue onto King St
  • Merge onto The Embarcadero

By Water Taxi:

Soon to arrive, a water taxi service will be provided from Pier 1 ½ offering water service around the Bay.

By Boat:

The Piers offer free public berthing at Pier 1 ½ for up to three hours while visiting The Piers or The Ferry Building Waterfront Area.
