Just south of The Piers, The Ferry Building has quickly become a foodie’s haven and CUESA, the Center for Urban Education about sustainable agriculture, has been the epicenter of this renovation and revolution on the waterfront.The Ferry Plaza Farmers Market is a California Certified Farmers Market operated by CUESA. There are three markets per week (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays), all of which takes place at the Ferry Building in San Francisco. Since its beginning in 1993, the market has been a crucial link between San Francisco residents and the farmers who practice sustainable agriculture in the region.
